The title addition Territory of Light is borrowed from a novel going by the same name written by Yuko Tsushima. While the book is not explicitly about light, it contains many mentionings of light — as an important element to all the atmo-spheric descriptions.
It is in the changing atmospheres that this composition traverses that I perceive changes of light: the darkening or lightening of a room when daylight falls in, minute changes of temperature perceptible on the skin, also light that penetrates different textures perhaps. Or light in relation to clarity and opacity, of making an unknown territory known, making a known territory unknown.
